    Description

    IDR is seeking a Network Engineer. The role is based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (Hybrid). As a Network Engineer, you will design, configure, and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure, operating independently on well-defined initiatives while collaborating within a broader engineering team. The position combines hands-on technical work with teamwork and communication.

    Position Overview for the Network Engineer:

    • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues at OSI model Layers 13.
    • Configure and install Cisco switches Catalyst C9000 series.
    • Configure and install Cisco routers Catalyst C8000 series.
    • Deploy equipment at both access layer and distribution layer.

    Requirements for the Network Engineer:

    • Minimum of 2 years of professional technical work experience with a bachelors degree in a technical discipline.
    • Strong working knowledge of the OSI model, specifically Layers 13 (Physical, Data Link, Network).
    • Hands-on experience configuring and installing Cisco switches Catalyst C9000 series.
    • Hands-on experience configuring and installing Cisco routers Catalyst C8000 series.
    • Experience deploying equipment at both the access layer and distribution layer.

    65-68/hour
