Azure Network Engineer - Contract-to-Hire (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Network Engineer for a fully remote, 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting enterprise hybrid cloud and networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Azure networking solutions in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
• Support Azure networking services including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs)
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, BGP, software-defined networking, and connectivity from on-prem to Azure
• Work with both cloud-based and legacy physical network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure automation and deployments
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, network optimization, and root cause analysis

Required Experience

• Strong Azure networking experience in enterprise environments

• Deep understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, and hybrid networking

• Hands-on experience with:

• Azure ExpressRoute

• BGP routing

• VPN connectivity

• Software-defined networking

• Network Virtual Appliances

• Experience supporting on-prem and cloud network infrastructure

• Working knowledge of Terraform

• Strong troubleshooting and support background

Preferred

• Azure Network Engineer certification
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and automation/scripting
