Candidate Location Requirement: Candidate must currently reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia and must be willing to relocate to South Carolina prior to starting, at their own expense. Preference will be given to candidates already local to South Carolina.

Job Overview: This is a hands-on cloud/network security engineering role, not a developer position. The consultant will work closely with Product Owners, Application Owners, Network, and Security teams to design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Network Security and Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, scaling, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto VM-Series Firewalls in BOTH AWS and Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto Panorama
  • Security Policy Design
  • Threat Prevention Tuning
  • Firewall Log Analysis
• Proven ability to architect and implement Zero Trust security controls using Palo Alto technologies.
• 5+ years deploying, configuring, and maintaining F5 BIG-IP LTM.
• College Degree OR 10+ years of equivalent Palo Alto Cloud Engineering experience.
• Must hold at least one relevant Palo Alto, AWS, or Azure certification.
