Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol).
Monitor network performance using various tools and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
Conduct packet analysis using tools like Wireshark to diagnose and resolve network problems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations and project success.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a network engineering role.
A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other core protocols.
CCNA Certification is required.
Proven experience with network design and implementation.
Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
Proficiency in switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol).
Experience with network security principles and practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Ability to perform configuration management and version control.
Experience with packet analysis using tools like Wireshark.
Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation and network tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with specific vendor technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
Familiarity with network automation tools and techniques.
Fluency in Urdu.
