Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a Managed Services team supporting diverse client environments. This role serves as a senior technical escalation resource responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, leading projects, and providing guidance to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the highest level of technical escalation for network, server, cloud, and security-related issues.
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Support and administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization platforms.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Working knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and security frameworks.
