Job Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our onsite team supporting a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA), and enterprise network operations and a proven ability to ensure network availability, performance, and security while driving incident resolution and change implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support for Cisco Routing and Switching and Cisco SDA environments.
• Manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot site network infrastructure.
• Perform incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis for network issues.
• Support network changes, upgrades, and implementations per operational requirements.
• Ensure network availability, performance, and security in line with customer standards and SLAs.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain technical documentation and deliver operational reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on proficiency with Cisco Routing and Switching, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) and related policy-based networking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with incident and problem management practices.
• Knowledge of network security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in customer-facing settings.
• Experience level: 5+ years in enterprise network engineering or operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing or other 24x7 operational environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, and SLA-driven operations.
