Job Title : Network Engineer
Location: Alameda CA

Pay Rate: $60- $63/hr (all Inclusive)
 

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Network Engineer. This role is 100% onsite, and local candidates are preferred. The position is for a duration of 6 months.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in operations and managing network devices and firewalls infrastructure.
• Experience installing and building network infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices.
• Good knowledge of PAN firewalls architecture, ACLs, policies, NATs, IPSEC VPNs, Global protect VPNs.
• Prior work experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Routing and Switching design with R&S and/or DC CCNA required; CCNP preferred.
• Experience on SolarWinds IT infrastructure monitoring and provisioning.
• Solid understanding of routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, BGP.
• Experience with technologies such as Cisco SDA, VXLAN, and others.
• Scripting/programming skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network devices and firewalls infrastructure.
• Install and build network infrastructure as needed.
• Proactively acquire an in-depth understanding of the organization and its processes.
• Develop an understanding of incidents and change management principles and organization best practices.
• Provide excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving complex networking issues.
