Join Amazon"s Network Access Technology team and build automation that keeps the world"s largest enterprise wireless network running and healing itself. You"ll design and deploy next-generation access infrastructure across thousands of global sites, solving complex problems at massive scale while your work directly enables every package Amazon delivers.
Your primary focus is building automation that makes our global wireless network self-sufficient and resilient. You"ll analyze patterns across thousands of sites, develop workflows that resolve issues without human intervention, and validate new hardware before it reaches production environments.
You partner with firmware, field operations, and infrastructure engineers-pressure-testing designs and influencing decisions through data-driven insights. You"ll mentor newer engineers, conduct technical reviews, and occasionally visit sites for hands-on validation and troubleshooting.
No two weeks look the same, but the constant is this: you"re solving complex problems at unprecedented scale, and your work directly impacts the reliability of our fulfillment network worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
You start on a design you own: whether 6E SSIDs can go fleet-wide without breaking specific clients, which means a staged rollout and systematic metric validation built into the deployment. Midday an escalation lands, and you help troubleshoot wireless performance for real time applications in the Fulfillment Center. In the afternoon you write the one-page recommendation to your director on standardizing the next generation of fulfillment centers on a single wireless platform, with cost, operational load, and migration risk laid out plainly enough that a decision can actually be made.
Amazon offers a full range of benefits to support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and children. Benefits can vary by location, the number of regularly scheduled hours you work, length of employment, and job status such as seasonal or temporary employment. The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include:
Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage
Maternity and Parental Leave Options
Paid Time Off (PTO)
401(k) Plan
If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we"d still love to hear from you! At Amazon, we value people with unique backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets. If you're passionate about this role and want to make an impact on a global scale, please apply!
