Role Overview
We are seeking a Deployment Engineer with extensive expertise in network deployments, particularly with Mellanox technologies, to join a dynamic team in the SF Bay Area. This role requires quarterly travel to Mexico to oversee and support deployments. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions and a proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced network environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deploy network solutions using Mellanox hardware and technologies.
- Configure, test, and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize expertise in Cumulus OS, OSPF, BGP, and campus WAN to deliver reliable network designs.
- Collaborate with clients to propose tailored solutions and provide best practices guidance.
- Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain network performance for high availability and reliability.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Travel quarterly to Mexico for hands-on support of deployments.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in network engineering or deployment.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Mellanox technologies and tools (e.g., Mellanox OFED, SwitchX, Spectrum).

- Ability to travel quarterly to Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
- Familiarity with networking hardware from Cisco and Juniper.
- Certifications like CCNA or CCNP.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
