Description

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:
  • Ten plus (10+) years of experience in networking environment responsible to plan and build new network environment.
  • Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCIE or comparable).
  • Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture, including APIC, leaf, and spine switches.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with ACI.
  • In-depth hands on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load balancer, Cisco router, switches, and firewalls.
  • Full understanding of ITIL and service management principals.
  • Hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, and SONET architecture.
  • Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, and LACP.
  • In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, and multicast.
  • Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and build new network environments.
  • Prepare, document, and deploy changes in a network.
  • Troubleshoot network issues using network sniffers such as Wireshark.
  • Test tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
  • Liaison with carriers and vendors for installations.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) in an enterprise or data center environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions that align with business requirements.
