Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Network & Security Manager to lead and execute the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity program, and end-user support services. This role combines strategic responsibility with direct technical execution: you'll serve as the first line of support for a highly technical workforce, including software developers and engineers, while maintaining and continuously improving the organization's security posture, infrastructure reliability, and compliance programs.

You should be equally comfortable troubleshooting a user issue, administering cloud infrastructure, managing security controls, developing policies, and coordinating with external vendors and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for employees and customers across Windows, macOS, IOS, Android, and Azure environments.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Manage user identity, authentication, access control (back office and applications), endpoint management, and device security.
• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures, including appropriate security for AI tools.
• Monitor and improve the organization's cybersecurity posture across cloud services, endpoints, infrastructure, and internally developed software applications.
• Lead vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and remediation efforts.
• Partner with software engineering teams to promote secure development and deployment practices.
• Manage laptops, mobile devices, endpoint protection technologies, and device lifecycle processes.
• Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors and service providers.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure, connectivity, and related services.
• Coordinate security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security awareness and best practices.
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices.

You'll be comfortable acting as a “doctor for doctors,” providing exceptional support to a highly technical workforce while leading our approach to cybersecurity, identity management, infrastructure governance, and compliance readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT administration, cybersecurity, and/or infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated expertise administering Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows, macOS, Azure Active Directory, and Copilot.
• Demonstrated knowledge of information security best practices required for: 
  • Cloud-hosted SaaS platforms
  • Custom-developed applications
  • Authentication services and SSO
  • Infrastructure and networking
  • End-user devices, including laptops and mobile phones
  • AI end-user tools
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution.

• Experience managing third-party technology vendors and service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting software development organizations and cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with security operations, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
• Professional security certifications.
• Experience with HITRUST, FedRAMP, or similar regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Microsoft certification.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune.
