The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's physical and virtual servers, operating systems, applications, and core IT infrastructure. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for applications including AD Audit, AD Self Service, CourseArc, Deep Freeze, Dentrix, testing software (e.g., PearsonVUE and NetSupport), Remote Desktop Services, and Active Directory file services. The position also provides secondary support for systems such as Alertus, UPS infrastructure, surveillance and access control systems, Dynamic Forms Exchange, SFTP, Proxsafe, Microsoft SQL, Tanium, StaffMap, CrowdStrike, and Veeam Backup and Replication.
Essential Functions
35% - Server, Systems, and Infrastructure Administration: Maintains and supports physical and virtual servers, operating systems, applications, and core IT infrastructure. Perform updates, patches, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, secure operations.
30% - Primary Application Management & Support: Serves as the primary subject matter expert for AD Audit, AD Self Service, CourseArc, Deep Freeze, Dentrix, testing platforms (e.g., PearsonVUE, NetSupport), Remote Desktop Services, and Active Directory file services. Oversees configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
15% - Secondary System Administration & Support: Provides backup support for Alertus, UPS infrastructure, surveillance and access control systems, Dynamic Forms Exchange, SFTP, Proxsafe, Microsoft SQL, Tanium, StaffMap, CrowdStrike, and Veeam Backup and Replication.
10% - Security, Backup, and Compliance Support: Assists with endpoint security, backup operations, access control, and data protection across supported systems. Supports adherence to organizational security policies and best practices.
10% - Documentation & Cross-Team Collaboration: Maintains documentation for systems, applications, and procedures. Collaborates with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues, coordinates changes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
