Network Administrator

Overview

Quartz Health Solutions is seeking an inquisitive Network Administrator to support and enhance the infrastructure that powers our healthcare operations. This role will design, manage, and optimize network and infrastructure systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability across the enterprise. This position will work closely with technical teams, business partners, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the environment.

Benefits:

• Starting salary based upon skills and experience: $78,800 - $98,500 plus robust benefits package

Responsibilities

Maintain Network Infrastructure and Services

• Configure, administer, and monitor enterprise network systems (routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi)
• Implement and maintain internal and cloud-based network infrastructures according to best practices, security guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Aid in the design, built, test, and deployment of new systems, services, and processes to meet ongoing business needs.
• Perform routine maintenance including, updates, patching, backups, snapshots, configuration management, and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Support internal and external cloud infrastructure standards; guide technical decisions by partnering across functions to ensure best practices are developed and followed.

General Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise for support issues and in aid in troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and recommending and implementing solutions to remediate.
• Develop, implement, and maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems and processes.
• Work closely with teammates, vendors, project teams, and management to support projects and initiatives across the enterprise by collaborating, designing, challenging, optimizing, implementing, and enhancing deliverables through their lifecycles.
• Support audit and compliance activities as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology field with 2+ years of experience in a network administrator role or equivalent

• Or associate degree in information technology field with 5+ years of experience in a network administer role or equivalent

• Or high school equivalency with 8+ years of experience in a network administrator role or equivalent

• Experience supporting complex IT environments overseeing networks, including planning, developing, installing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing

• Enterprise network experience: including operational knowledge of routing protocols, switch configuration, firewalls, and VPNs, in a QoS environment

• Experience monitoring and managing data and SIP circuits, provisioning and managing SANs/HCI, supporting services in an ITSM framework

• Proficiency administering Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP in distributed environment

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure elements and functions (Azure)

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, working independently, under pressure, and be adaptable to change

• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors

• Ability to work outside of business hours as needed in on-call rotation

Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
