Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to augment our Cloud & Infrastructure team during a period of rapid growth. This role will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise wired and wireless networks across corporate and data center environments.

The ideal candidate is operationally strong, security-minded, and comfortable performing production network changes, firewall updates, and connectivity troubleshooting in a live environment.

This is a 6-month onsite role based in Frisco, TX, with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and business need. This position is based in Dallas, TX.

What Youll Do

• Administer and support enterprise LAN/WAN and data center network infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Layer 2 environments, including VLANs, trunking, STP, and port channels
• Support core, distribution, and access layer network architecture
• Perform firewall policy updates, NAT changes, VPN configuration, and high-availability support
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues, including VLAN-to-SSID mappings and RF-related performance concerns
• Execute production changes following change management practices
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and documentation
• Collaborate with Systems, Cloud, and Security teams to maintain secure and scalable infrastructure

Required Qualifications

3 years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience Strong Layer 2 networking expertise, including VLANs, trunking, STP, and port channels Experience supporting data center networking environments, core, distribution, and access models Hands-on enterprise firewall administration experience, policy management, NAT, VPNs, HA concepts Experience troubleshooting enterprise wired and wireless networks Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing fundamentals Experience performing production network changes in live environments Ability to work onsite in Frisco, TX

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Juniper switching infrastructure Experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls Exposure to routing protocols, such as OSPF or BGP Experience with enterprise wireless platforms, Aruba, Cisco Mist, etc. Relevant certifications, CCNA, JNCIA, PCNSE, NSE, or equivalent Experience in secure, compliance-driven, or defense environments
