    Network Administrator
    Location:  Columbia, SC (hybrid)
    Contract Length: 6 Months
    Pay Rate: $35/hr - $40/hr
    Overview
    Join a highly visible Network Operations Center (NOC) team responsible for supporting a large-scale enterprise network environment. This role focuses on network monitoring, incident response, operational support, infrastructure maintenance, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical network services.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform daily operational health checks and environment validation activities.
    • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity across enterprise infrastructure.
    • Respond to and resolve network incidents, outages, and service disruptions.
    • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
    • Manage break-fix activities and service requests.
    • Implement operational changes following established change management processes.
    • Support compliance and remediation initiatives.
    • Manage network backup and recovery procedures.
    • Create and maintain operational documentation, processes, and knowledge articles.
    • Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and application support teams to ensure operational excellence and service availability.

    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR
    • 4 years of relevant work experience; OR
    • 2 years of relevant experience plus an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations, network administration, infrastructure support, or related environments.
    • Experience supporting enterprise network technologies in a 24x7 operational environment.
    • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
    • Experience performing network monitoring, operational maintenance, and infrastructure support activities.
    Experience
    • 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and network environments.
    • Experience supporting highly available, large-scale network environments.
    • Experience leading major incident responses and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
    Certifications
    • CCNA
    • CCNP
    • CCVP
