Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a NetApp Storage Administrator for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise NetApp storage environments while leading storage migrations, disaster recovery, and SAN/NAS support initiatives.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

NetApp Storage Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain NetApp storage solutions including ONTAP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, and Azure NetApp Files.

  • Lead and execute NetApp storage migration projects using native tools such as SnapMirror while ensuring minimal business disruption.

  • Provide engineering support for SAN/NAS environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

  • Manage storage provisioning activities including volume creation, LUN mapping, NAS share configuration, and storage allocation.

  • Administer disaster recovery and replication solutions, including SVMDR, cluster peering, SVM peering, failover testing, and recovery operations.

  • Monitor storage capacity, performance, and replication health while performing troubleshooting, forecasting, and continuous optimization activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience managing, supporting, and administering NetApp storage environments.

  • Deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP, SnapMirror, SAN/NAS administration, storage provisioning, replication, and performance optimization.

  • Proven experience leading NetApp migration projects using native migration tools, including SVMDR, cluster peering, disaster recovery, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, and Azure NetApp Files.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
