    Senior Electrical Test Technician (NETA III/IV)

    Compensation: $68–$85/hour + Full Benefits

    We are representing a small, privately held power services firm in the DFW market with a team of approximately 10 employees. The company is intentionally built lean, allowing experienced technicians to take on meaningful responsibility, operate with autonomy, and directly influence project outcomes.

    This is not a layered organization. The team is tight, communication is direct, and leadership is actively involved in the work.

    They are seeking a NETA Level III or IV Technician to lead field testing efforts and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead field crews on power systems testing projects (typically 2–30 technicians depending on scope)
    • Manage projects from mobilization through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
    • Perform testing and maintenance on LV, MV, and HV systems, including:
    • Switchgear
    • Circuit breakers
    • Transformers
    • Protective relays
    • Cables
    • Motors and starters
    • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients
    • Compile, review, and deliver professional test reports
    • Support job walks, estimating efforts, and client interactions as needed
    • Utilize industry-standard testing equipment and reporting platforms (PowerDB or similar)

    Qualifications

    • Active NETA Level III or IV certification
    • Demonstrated experience in power systems testing and maintenance across multiple voltage classes
    • Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations effectively
    • Strong working knowledge of PowerDB or equivalent reporting software
    • Ability to execute both short-duration and extended project work
    • Clear and professional communication skills with both internal teams and clients
