Providence Womens and Childrens Services is seeking full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants/Physician Associates who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program to join a well-established team of practitioners in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, patient education, and work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support services to provide high-value, family-centered care. You will also exercise autonomy of practice in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to drive the patient treatment plans.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant coverage is provided at both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers, both teaching hospitals with Level III and Level II NICUs, Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultation, and OB Hospitalist support.

Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 12- and 24-hour shifts, with advanced notice and self-scheduling. Support services for birthing parents and babies throughout the Providence system, including Level III and Level II NICUs in Portland, Oregon.

Clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, patient education, and work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support services to provide high-value, family-centered care.

In-patient care, including daily rounding, writing of orders and progress notes, patient education, admission and discharge summaries, attending high-risk deliveries, performing procedures, and functioning as a leader in the team.

As a leader in childrens health, more babies are born at Providence hospitals than any other health system in Oregon. Providence Women and Childrens Services work in collaboration with the Providence Cancer Institute, Providence Heart Institute, and other Providence specialty programs to provide complete, coordinated care to patients.
