WashU Medicine seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Springfield, MO.
This is a unique opportunity to join a compassionate and growing neonatal care team serving families across beautiful Springfield and the surrounding region. The NNP will be employed by the prestigious Washington University (WashU) while working in coordination with Missouris #1 Childrens Hospital all while being in the heart of the Ozarks.
Provides advanced clinical care to premature, critically ill and medically complex newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and affiliated newborn care settings. Works collaboratively with neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical decision-making skills in neonatal resuscitation, invasive procedural management (including intubation, umbilical lines, and chest tubes), and autonomous management of complex premature infants from admission to discharge. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with provide expertise in managing high-acuity, critically ill neonates in a Level III/IV NICU setting.
Hours:
Full-time; 24-hour shifts and 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-6:30 PM).
