We are seeking a detail-oriented Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to support the inspection of high-performance racing engine components. In this role, you'll work hands-on with parts that have competed at the highest levels of motorsports, helping identify wear, defects, and opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.
What You'll Do
- Perform post-race inspection of racing engine components using visual, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle inspection methods under the guidance of certified personnel.
- Accurately document inspection findings and maintain detailed records.
- Identify and communicate potential issues requiring further review.
- Use basic math to calculate inspection parameters and verify results.
- Support production schedules by completing inspections efficiently and accurately.
- Re-clean parts following inspection processes.
- Assist other departments and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred.
- Basic NDT knowledge or inspection experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in high-performance engines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Requirements
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- For ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
