MISTRAS Group is seeking an NDT Assistant to support field and shop inspection operations in the Heath, OH and Lima, OH area. This position is ideal for candidates with prior NDT assistant experience who are looking to grow within the nondestructive testing industry. Job Responsibilities
Assist certified NDT Technicians with inspections and testing activitiesSupport setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipmentPrepare work areas, materials, and inspection toolsFollow all safety procedures and site requirementsComplete required documentation and reports accuratelyMaintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areasTravel locally to job sites as needed within the areaPerform other duties assigned by supervisors or lead technicians
Requirements
Previous NDT Assistant experience is requiredNDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to applyAbility to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when neededStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to lift equipment and work in industrial environmentsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environmentsCurrent safety certifications are a plusExperience supporting RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT inspections preferred
