LOCATION: NDSCS - Fargo, North Dakota

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: This position provides administrative support for students, faculty and staff at NDSCS-Fargo located at 1305 19th Ave N Fargo, ND 58102. Primary responsibilities include customer service and a first point of contact with students, faculty, staff, general public and business & industry individuals. Scheduling and proctoring the test center are also key responsibilities of this position.

SALARY: $38,000-$43,000, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office technologies
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business, office administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience in a higher education setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse student populations
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex operations, including scheduling, event coordination, and test proctoring
  • Experience with student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft)
  • Knowledge of FERPA and higher education administrative processes
