Manage and support SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, with a strong focus on cloud platforms, particularly Azure. - Design, implement, maintain, and secure on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid database systems for critical government data.

- Design, implement, maintain, and secure on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid database systems for critical government data.
- Optimize database performance, storage, indexing, and query execution, especially in cloud environments.
- Develop and manage cloud-based backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with data analysts, auditors, and IT staff to ensure seamless data availability and integration.
- Automate cloud database operations and improve data management workflows.
- Lead cloud migration projects and optimize cloud storage and computing costs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, encryption, and access control in all database environments.
- Manage and support SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, with a strong focus on cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Utilize and support Databricks, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
- Use scripting languages (Python/PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AKS) for cloud automation and management.
- Oversee ETL processes and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Maintain compliance with agency and security policies, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- This is a full-time, on-site position requiring in-person presence.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in database administration focused on cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant database and scripting technologies.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, and cloud automation tools.

- The candidate must be able to work on-site, attend in-person interviews, and be available for the assignment's entire duration.
- All work must be performed within the United States; outsourcing is not permitted.
- Absences longer than two weeks require prior approval.
