- Support the ongoing DMV NCMAX Cloud infrastructure build for NCDIT-Transportation Infrastructure Team.
- Design and develop software solutions for cloud-based operating systems.
- Provide a reliable and scalable platform for developers to build and deploy applications.
- Apply thorough knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools in daily tasks.
- Utilize expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and enforce cloud infrastructure best practices, focusing on security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting and solution development.
- Participate in on-site activities as needed for meetings, equipment collection, and task-specific activities (initial on-site attendance required).
- Statewide travel required using personal vehicle (no use of state vehicles permitted for contractors).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth onboarding and integration into processes during the first week.
