This position provides advanced Java development support for the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) and the ongoing migration to the Drinking Water State-Federal-Tribal Information Exchange System (DW-SFITES). The Java Developer will serve as a key technical contributor responsible for operational support of the existing SDWIS application while advancing development and integration work required for the transition to DW-SFITES.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role supports a federal EPA information system and requires the ability to work independently on both operational support and active migration/development efforts. The position requires close coordination with the broader project team to maintain continuity of SDWIS operations while advancing DW-SFITES development goals.
