Pay rate Range :$45-$58
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. This role is 100% onsite and requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in NC programming and aerospace manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience programming three, four, and five axes mills.
- Proficiency in using NX programming software.
- Experience machining aluminum aerospace parts.
- Experience creating workholding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining aerospace components.
- Prior work experience in the aerospace industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the aerospace industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create NC programs for aerospace components using NX CAM.
- Plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
- Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
- Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
