NC FAST Junior Java Developer/Test Engineer

Preferably possess knowledge of Curam application, FNS/SNAP Program policy, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and UNIX platforms. - Utilize development tools such as Eclipse, Git, RSA, and testing tools like HP Test Director/Quality Center, QTP, NeoLoad, and qTest.

Job Summary Junior Java Developer/Test Engineer

- Support development and implementation of NC FAST Operations and Maintenance for the FNS Program at NC DHHS.
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of Java-based applications in a collaborative team environment.
- Write, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts using TOSCA, junit, and jmockit.
- Perform manual testing and automated testing to ensure software quality.
- Assist senior developers in building, testing, debugging, and maintaining Java applications and features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews; provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Work with databases, including executing SQL for validation and integration into applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Debug and resolve software defects to ensure application stability.
- Contribute to system documentation and process improvement initiatives.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools, Java technologies, and industry trends.
- Apply knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Utilize development tools such as Eclipse, Git, RSA, and testing tools like HP Test Director/Quality Center, QTP, NeoLoad, and qTest.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
