Natrona County Public Library (NCPL) serves as a vital community resource hub for residents throughout Natrona County, Wyoming. Beyond traditional library services, NCPL provides a wide range of programs and resources that help address barriers to education, economic opportunity, health, and community engagement for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of poverty. The library offers educational programs that support lifelong learning and academic success, including homeschool enrichment opportunities, early literacy initiatives, and a robust Summer Reading Program serving children and youth of all ages. NCPL also provides language learning resources that help community members build skills needed for employment, education, and civic participation. To support financial stability and access to essential services, the library partners with community organizations to provide free tax preparation assistance, helping residents maximize available tax credits and refunds. NCPL also increases access to healthcare through telehealth resources and technology, reducing barriers for individuals who may lack reliable internet access or transportation. Additional services, including passport processing and notary services, help residents access important government, employment, and legal resources. Located in downtown Casper, the library plays a critical role in connecting unhoused and vulnerable populations with information, technology, community services, and support networks. Through partnerships with local organizations and agencies, NCPL helps community members access resources that promote stability, self-sufficiency, and improved quality of life. By providing equitable access to education, technology, information, and essential services, Natrona County Public Library helps strengthen community well-being and create pathways out of poverty for residents throughout Natrona County.
