**Position Overview**
Carlile Transportation is seeking a **strategic, results-driven National Sales Executive** to lead business growth initiatives and strengthen existing customer partnerships throughout our transportation and logistics network.
This role is responsible for both **maintaining and growing existing business relationships** while also developing **new business opportunities across targeted markets and industries** . The ideal candidate is a **highly motivated sales professional** with deep transportation and logistics experience, strong relationship management skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.
The National Sales Executive will collaborate closely with **operations, pricing, customer service, and leadership teams** to deliver customized logistics solutions that align with customer needs and organizational goals.
This is a **hybrid position** , with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and execute **strategic sales plans** to drive revenue growth and expand market presence
+ Maintain and grow relationships with **existing customers** through proactive engagement
+ Identify and secure **new business opportunities** across transportation and logistics markets
+ Build and maintain a strong **sales pipeline** through prospecting, networking, and referrals
+ Conduct **customer presentations, business reviews, and solution-based sales meetings**
+ Partner with **operations and leadership teams** to ensure service excellence
+ Prepare **pricing proposals, contracts, and customized logistics solutions**
+ Monitor **market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments**
+ Meet or exceed **sales targets and revenue goals**
+ Utilize **CRM systems** for pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking
+ Support **contract negotiations and long-term account strategies**
+ Represent Carlile at **industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in **Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field** preferred
+ Minimum of **5+ years of sales experience** in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
+ Proven success in **account management and business development**
+ Experience managing **national or large regional accounts**
+ Strong understanding of **transportation operations (freight, trucking, warehousing, multimodal)**
+ Demonstrated ability to **close complex sales opportunities**
+ Experience with **CRM systems and pipeline forecasting**
+ Excellent **negotiation, communication, and presentation skills**
+ Strong **analytical and problem-solving abilities**
+ Ability to **travel as needed**

**Compensation**
The salary range is $126,000 to $201,900 annually. Pay will be based on several factors including the candidate's **education, work experience, work location, and specific job duties** .
