What We're Looking For
At HNTB, you can create a career that is meaningful to you while building communities that matter to all of us. For more than a century, we have delivered solutions for some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects across the country. With our continued growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.
This opportunity entails serving as HNTB's national technical leader for risk management on major transit, rail, and other complex infrastructure programs. The National Practice Consultant provides technical direction, strategic advice, and hands-on support across the full project lifecycle. The role establishes and improves risk and contingency management frameworks; facilitates executive and project-level risk workshops; leads qualitative and quantitative risk analysis; and translates analysis into clear recommendations that protect scope, cost, schedule, funding, and delivery outcomes.
The successful candidate will work across offices, market sectors, practices, and disciplines to support client engagements, strategic pursuits, and 4for4 delivery. This role will partner closely with program and project management, project controls, estimating, scheduling, procurement, contracting, finance, and technical teams. The consultant will also mentor risk professionals, advance consistent tools and standards, and strengthen HNTB's national thought leadership and market position in infrastructure risk management.
