About the Opportunity
Our client is a nationally recognized land surveying and civil engineering firm with over 130 years of industry history. Operating in all 50 states, they deliver a full suite of services including land surveying, civil engineering, environmental and property assessments, zoning, and construction services. They are looking for a National Market Leader to build and grow their energy business nationwide. You will sell the firm's full range of services to energy developers, owners, operators, investors, and contractors. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer with direct access to company leadership and an established delivery organization behind you.

- Target annual incentive of $75,000 to $125,000 tied to profitable, collected business and strategic account growth

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute a national energy market plan with prioritized accounts, revenue objectives, and a clear pursuit strategy
- Originate opportunities with solar, wind, and battery storage developers, oil and gas producers, pipeline and storage operators, utilities, energy investors, and EPC contractors
- Secure approved vendor status, master service agreements, and funded project assignments, then expand them into repeat work across client portfolios
- Sell surveying, environmental assessment and zoning, civil engineering, and construction services including SUE, utility locating, and 3D scanning
- Lead discovery meetings, qualifications submissions, proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Own the client relationship after award, including project handoffs, client reviews, issue resolution, and timely collections
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts covering project stage, decision makers, scope, fees, and award timing
- Represent the firm at targeted industry events and client meetings
- Recommend staffing, geographic coverage, and specialist partnerships based on qualified demand
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in energy, engineering, surveying, environmental consulting, or related professional services
- Proven record of personally originating and closing professional services engagements
- Established relationships with energy clients and deep experience in at least one core energy sector
- Ability to sell multiple service lines and coordinate teams across disciplines and locations
- Working knowledge of energy project development, site requirements, procurement, permitting, and construction schedules
- Strong proposal, negotiation, presentation, CRM, and forecasting skills
- Willingness to travel nationally as client needs require
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, surveying, environmental science, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- PE or PLS licensure preferred but not required
