    Description

    As the National Account Manager, you will be a key member of the sales team responsible for a mixed portfolio of national retail accounts. Your aim is to drive profitable growth across accounts in line with company objectives. You will liaise with the wider Jazwares team, including Ops & Logistics, BI, Finance, Brand and Marketing. You will be given the freedom to create your own mark within your accounts and own relationships and end-to-end   processes in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. You will be expected to develop ideas of how to streamline and innovate the workload and share our corporate vision and passion for our brands with the world's largest retailers.     What You Will Do:

    • Act as the primary  point of contact for named accounts, owning end-to-end forecasting, performance, and day-to-day execution

    •  Lead annual terms negotiations and develop strategic customer business plans to ensure sustainable volume and profit growth

    •  Collaborate with retailers to understand their business strategies, tailoring promotional suggestions to maximize revenue and placement for new and existing brands

    • Manage P&L statements and work closely with the Supply-Demand Planning Team to ensure accurate forecasting and consistent stock supply into retail

    • Develop and deliver compelling conceptual presentations to influence decision-makers at customer business planning sessions

    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team, providing the training, tools, and motivation necessary to foster individual growth and team success

    • Actively communicate customer needs across the organization, facilitating alignment among internal and external cross-functional teams

    • Attend industry events

    What We Are Looking For:

    • 5+ years of sales experience within consumer goods, including direct experience managing relationships with major retailers and vendor managers

    • 2+ years of direct leadership experience with a proven track record of mentoring teams and meeting or exceeding sales quotas

    • Exceptional negotiation, project management, and presentation skills with the ability to confidently influence decision-makers

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to strategically manage P&L statements and drive sustainable commercial plans

    • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities effectively

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), G-Suite, and common CRM software (such as Gainsight or Salesforce)

    Nice To Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or an industry-relevant field is a plus

    • Prior sales or brand experience within the toy, entertainment, or licensed consumer products industry is a plus

    What We Offer

    The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.  

    Our benefits package includes basic medical insurance that is 100% company-paid for employees and their children, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4% of pretax or post-tax deferrals, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement.   

    Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave.  Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
