    Your shift rhythm

    Picture your workweek starting Wednesday evening. You arrive at 4:20 pm, hand off at 4:40 am, and repeat Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—12 hours each day. You’ll work 36 hours and be paid for 40. Additional days and hours may be scheduled to meet customer demand. A $1.00 shift differential applies.

    A day in the life

    You’ll set up, run, and clean narrow-web flexographic printing and converting presses to deliver products that meet customer specifications in a clean, safe environment. From dialing in ink pH/viscosity and holding tight color/registration tolerances, to minimizing waste and documenting every detail, you are the steward of quality on press.

    What you’ll tackle

    • Run to the daily press schedule and follow ISO SOPs precisely.
    • Complete all required paperwork with accuracy and clarity.
    • Achieve color and registration within specified tolerances.
    • Stage every component needed—from substrates to tooling—so each job is ready from set-up through clean-up.
    • Control waste in both time and materials; keep output squarely within customer specs.
    • Leverage strong ink knowledge, including pH/viscosity adjustments.
    • Stack finished product neatly; clearly segregate and mark any nonconforming material.
    • Plan changeovers methodically and execute efficient set-ups.

    • Keep base rolls free of tape/debris; clean gears as required.
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance and escalate issues promptly.
    • Collaborate courteously with support teams; contribute to quality and process improvements.
    • Assist in other departments when needed and conduct detailed shift handoffs.

    Physical expectations

    Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 50 lbs. or more without restriction.

    • English reading, writing, and speaking; able to interpret job tickets.
    • Solid ink knowledge; confident color matching.
    • Skilled, safe machine operation and familiarity with varied tooling.
    • Organized, deadline-driven, and professional communicator.
    • Team-oriented with strong quality sensibilities and troubleshooting ability.
    • Forklift trained and safety focused.

    Education & experience

    High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred. At least 3 years of flexographic press experience.
