In our Richmond, VA warehouse, you begin with a pre-shift checklist, confirming your reach truck is inspection-ready. Moments later, you’re gliding through narrow aisles, retrieving pallets from high-bay racking, and staging outbound loads. A quick scan here, a system update there—every move you make keeps inventory accurate and product flowing. You team up with peers to clear priority orders, keep work areas tidy, and share best practices with newer operators so everyone goes home safe and on time.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Operate a reach truck to load, unload, put-away, and transport materials across the warehouse.
- Use scanners to track products and maintain precise, real-time inventory records.
- Keep aisles and workstations clean and hazard-free, following all safety rules.
- Perform and document routine equipment inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
- Partner with teammates to hit daily targets and shipping/receiving deadlines.
- Help onboard and coach new drivers on safe, efficient equipment operation.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating a reach truck or similar lift equipment.
- Valid forklift certification (required).
- Sharp attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with regular physical activity.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
