About the Role:Independent Podiatry Clinic in Sioux Falls, SD is looking for a skilled Nail Tech who is looking to expand their experience to the medical field. This is your opportunity to bring your nail tech skills to a professional, patient-focused clinic where you will learn a variety of clinical foot and ankle care while assisting our Physician and MA's.
Responsibilities:- Perform professional nail care services under direct supervison of our Podiatrist
- Assess nail and skin conditions and recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships to encourage patient retention and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with Physician and Medical Assistants to provide excellent foot and ankle care services
- Assist the Physician with various aspects of patient care as needed
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Nail Technician preferred
- Proficiency in using professional pedicure tools such as dremel, nippers, and files preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to stay on a predetermined time-schedule
- Open to learning new tasks and information
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor
- Desire to learn clinical skills of a MA or CNA in a hands-on environment
- Ability to pivot from one task to another quickly while remaining calm
- Desire to ask questions to understand all aspects of training
