SUMMARY

A Nail Technician is responsible for delivery of exceptional nail and hair services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Adhere to all Miraval and Hyatt policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and stations used, as well as, restock of linens and products before, after and during shift
Must possess the ability to perform consecutive services in a pre-determined period of time
Required to sell retail products associated with treatments, and to achieve monthly sales goals
Attend and be an active participant in protocol training, product training and operations training
Attend and be an active participant in all department meetings

Qualifications:

The ideal Nail Technician will have the instinct to exude the following:

Confident technical skills and strong educational background, with the ability to adjust techniques according to the intake assessment, indicators in treatment and contraindications.

Solutions oriented approach to problem solving, capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Time management awareness and adherence to work schedules.
Organizational skills.
High standard of tidiness and sanitation awareness.
Availability to work a schedule that includes, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
Must display appropriate social skills and congeniality necessary to make guests and colleagues feel comfortable and welcome.
Requirement to provide a specific list of Miraval brand standard treatment protocols and modalities.

Education and / or Experience:

Must possess a current and valid Arizona Nail Technician License to be considered for this position. If you are planning to relocate to Arizona and hold a current and valid license in another state. Financial reimbursement of license transfer fees will be considered for the ideal candidate.
