    Title: N-3 Secretary Position Summary Under the general supervision of the school Principal, the N-3 Secretary performs various clerical duties using standard office equipment to ensure the efficient operation of the school's administrative functions. Essential Functions:

    • Interact with staff, parents, students and community members with a welcoming and helpful demeanor.
    • Assist with telephone calls and other forms of communication, providing information and assistance as needed.
    • Maintain accurate attendance and dismissal records for students.
    • Organize and maintain physical and digital records including correspondence, invoices, and student records.
    • Assist with opening, distributing and processing mail.
    • At the elementary and middle school level, provide coverage for the Principal's Secretary when needed.
    • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying, ordering, preparing purchase orders/requisitions and maintaining office supplies.
    • Provide support with financial tasks associated with ordering and receiving.
    • Performs other related duties, assignments and routine administrative functions as assigned by the Principal. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • High school diploma and 3-6 months of related experience or equivalent preferred.
    • Ability to operate PC, maintain a school database and utilize modern software applications.
    • Exhibit effective communication skills with students, parents and staff.
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability and willingness to learn and develop skillset while applying new technology and software tools.
    • Ability to distinguish between public and confidential information and handle appropriately both in and out of school. Equipment Operation and Physical Requirements:
    • Operate a range of standard office equipment, including personal computers, printers, scanners, digital communication tools and modern software applications.
