Music Therapist

The Music Therapist provides school-based educational or related services . This role collaborates with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic music interventions.
- Assess student needs and develop treatment goals.
- Support communication, motor, cognitive, and social development.
- Collaborate with educators and therapists.
- Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain documentation.
- Monitor student progress.
- Ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
- Comply with district policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy with MT-BC credential preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric or school-based experience.
- Board Certification (MT-BC).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
