Position: Part-Time Music Teacher
The Goddard School of Montville is looking for a
fun, energetic, and engaging Music Teacher to join our team!
We are seeking a music educator who enjoys working with young children and can create a joyful, age-appropriate musical experience for children ranging from
1 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate music classes for children ages 1–5
- Introduce children to music through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, and creative activities
- Create a positive, welcoming, and fun classroom environment
- Adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of different age groups
- Encourage children's creativity, confidence, and love of music
- Maintain a warm and professional relationship with children and staff
Qualifications
- Experience teaching music to young children preferred
- Music education, early childhood education, or related experience is a plus
- Must be energetic, patient, creative, and comfortable working with young children
- Ability to engage children through music, movement, and hands-on activities
- Reliable and professional
Schedule
This is a
part-time position requiring two Tuesdays per month, from
8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, beginning in
September 2026.
