Deshler Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-12 Music teacher position. This position could begin the second semester in January of 2027 or the beginning of the 2027-2028 school year. The successful candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Nebraska Teaching Certificate endorsed in K - 12 Music Education. The current base pay is $40,100 and Deshler Public Schools will accept all years of experience and completed graduate educational course work. The Deshler music program has a historically strong reputation that puts on an annual spring musical production that is very popular in the area. This is a music program that has high growth potential with BOE support. Deshler Public Schools is a Class D school located 60-miles south of York and is a member of the Twin Valley Conference (TVC). Deshler Public Schools is a progressive district with a strong community relationship. We have a great dual-credit program and provide career readiness classes. The position will be opened until filled.
