Lead Multirotor Systems Engineer
Location: Austin, TX | Full-Time

Synigent Technologies is seeking a Lead Multirotor Systems Engineer for a client in the Austin, TX region that will drive the development of next-generation UAV platforms from concept through production. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, RF, embedded software, and test engineers while owning overall vehicle architecture, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing multirotor drone systems, a strong understanding of flight dynamics and systems integration, and a proven track record of bringing UAV products from prototype to production. This individual will play a key role in shaping product strategy, guiding technical decisions, and helping build a world-class engineering organization.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of UAV or multirotor systems development experience
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
Strong knowledge of flight controls, propulsion systems, avionics, RF communications, and embedded systems
Proven success taking products from concept through validation and production
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field

Preferred Experience:

PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight, or custom flight-control systems
High-performance or FPV drone platforms
Aerospace, robotics, defense, or autonomous systems industries
