Francis Marion University invites applications for a Multimedia Services Production Assistant who, under limited supervision, performs duties related to production of general University and athletic events, provides multimedia support for events across the University, and for the public relations activities of the University. The Multimedia Services Production Assistant also assists with the care and provision of media equipment assigned to the Media Center.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
State Requirements: A high school diploma is required, experience or additional education in the production of video programming
FMU Preferences: Bachelor's degree in mass communication or broadcast related field. Thorough knowledge of various media devices and audio-visual procedures, including BlueFrame Production Truck and video editing utilizing programs from the Adobe Creative Cloud. Ability to work cooperatively with campus constituencies and external entities including Conference Carolinas. Two years' experience in audio/visual production, including live broadcasts, especially a working knowledge of athletic broadcasts. Working knowledge of Windows and MacOS, Vizrt Tricaster, projectors, audio mixers, and other A/V technology.
