You will be the Multi-Functional Quality Manager at the Troy, AL site. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across multiple functional areas, including Quality, Reliability, Test, or Inspection.

As a site Quality Manager, you willl be:

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations. Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Troy, Alabama.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications

• STEM Degree at the Bachelor level or above and/or experience/combined education
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting
• Working knowledge of Quality Engineering methods, processes, and tools
• Experience with AS9100 Quality systems
• Experienced in reading and interpreting drawings and standards
• Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools
• Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills

• STEM degree at bachelors level or above highly preferred
• Defense contractor or military contractor experience desired
• Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods preferred
• Previous Quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with and around explosives

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
