Position Summary: The Class A Multifamily Property Manager is responsible for the overall operation and success of a luxury multifamily property. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction, and achieving financial performance goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing upscale residential communities and a proven track record in customer service, team leadership, and financial management.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, with attention to detail in cleanliness, landscaping, and overall presentation.
  • Develop and implement property management procedures to improve efficiency and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage the property budget, including operating expenses, capital improvements, and vendor contracts.
  • Monitor financial performance, including rent collections, accounts payable/receivable, and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
  • Oversee the leasing process, including showing units, processing applications, and executing leases.
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Maintain high levels of tenant satisfaction through exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
  • Handle tenant complaints and disputes effectively, ensuring resolution in a timely manner.
  • Organize and participate in resident events and community-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and safety standards.
  • Oversee property safety programs and conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including tenant files, maintenance logs, and financial documentation.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on Class A multifamily properties.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
