Job Description

  • Manage all phases of ground-up wood-frame podium multifamily projects from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with superintendents, architects, engineers, consultants, ownership groups, and subcontractors
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and buyout activities
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project progress and proactively mitigate schedule, budget, and quality risks
  • Facilitate owner and stakeholder meetings while maintaining strong project communication
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Track project financial performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-2 years of experience as a project manager in multifamily construction
  • Proven experience managing ground-up wood-frame podium multifamily projects
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and subcontractor relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software and construction management platforms
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
