Builder/Developer Project Manager

Our client is a nationally recognized Builder/Developer with nearly 60 years of experience developing, constructing, and managing residential communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Unlike many developers, the company maintains ownership and management of its communities, creating a long-term investment approach and stable project pipeline.

Job Description

  • Assist with project management responsibilities from preconstruction through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Support project scheduling and financial tracking
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
  • Assist with procurement and project buyout activities
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and communication
  • Support delivery of projects on time and within budget

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of construction experience
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience required
  • Experience seeing projects through the full construction lifecycle
  • Familiarity with garden-style, wrap, or podium multifamily projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Stable work history with strong tenure preferred
