Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Track project schedules, budgets, subcontractor commitments, and procurement activities.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and ownership groups.
- Monitor project costs and assist with budget forecasting and financial reporting.
- Support contract administration and subcontractor management.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation.
- Track material procurement and long-lead items to support project schedules.
- Assist with project buyout and scope review activities.
- Help identify and resolve project issues before they impact budget or schedule.
- Support project closeout activities, punch lists, warranty items, and turnover documentation.
Profile
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
- Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar construction management role.
- Exposure to ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, senior living, or large residential projects.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team-oriented and collaborative.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Strong communicator who can build relationships with clients and trade partners.
- Self-motivated with long-term leadership ambitions.
- Organized and accountable with a sense of project ownership.
