This role will complete service requests, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and assist with property upkeep across both communities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while also being part of a collaborative property operations team.Essential ResponsibilitiesComplete resident work orders in a timely and professional mannerPerform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, carpentry, and basic troubleshootingPrepare vacant apartments for new move-ins, including inspections and punch workAssist with preventative maintenance programs and routine property inspectionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, and groundsSupport curb appeal efforts including exterior maintenance and common area upkeepIdentify maintenance concerns and report larger repair needs to managementFollow all company safety policies and proceduresProvide excellent customer service to residents and team membersTravel between Riverwell Townhomes and Valora Apartments based on operational needsQualificationsPrevious apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferredWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and general repairAbility to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficientlyStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasksPositive attitude with strong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple propertiesValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredHVAC certification or EPA certification is a plus, but not requiredPhysical RequirementsFrequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and lift throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to use maintenance tools, ladders, and equipment safelyAbout NXT Property ManagementAt NXT Property Management, we're committed to creating exceptional living experiences for our residents while building communities our teams are proud to serve.
