Multimedia Marketing Specialist, NP&AJob SummaryThe Multimedia Marketing Specialist is a hands‑on, digitally driven marketer who serves as an in‑house expert across multimedia, digital platforms, and emerging marketing technologies. This role is critical to supporting North American automation brands and broader NP&A marketing initiatives by owning digital channels, producing high‑quality content, and partnering cross‑functionally to drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.As a member of Nidec Press & Automation's global marketing team, the Multimedia marketing specialist will function at an enterprise level, interacting with internal department customers and the global team driving sales enablement initiatives and brand awareness. This energetic marketing champion will play a key role in maintaining, strengthening, and modernizing our group digital presence, while also ensuring consistent global implementation and corporate alignment. Job Responsibilities Actively participate as part of the global marketing team with the ability to:Manage team projects within responsibility/skill expertiseCollaborate with internal customers/maintain marketing relationshipsContribute technically to marketing projects maximizing personal expertiseDrive for innovative solutions that enable established history to integrate with modern technologies/function principles.Conducts keyword research and curates' content with the marketing team based on keywords to drive traffic and generate sales.Digital & Platform OwnershipServe as the in‑house multimedia and digital marketing lead, owning the development, management, and optimization of websites and related platformsAct as the internal vendor and project manager for digital tools, platforms, and outsourced initiativesPartner closely with IT on website security, hosting, and server management (marketing‑owned platforms)Marketing Technology & InnovationLead or support the development of new technology‑based marketing tools, including (but not limited to) apps, AR/VR experiences, renderings, web plug‑ins, and AI‑enabled solutionsConduct competitive digital analysis and identify channel gaps and opportunities for improvementEmail & Digital AdvertisingOwn the email marketing program, including platform management, content creation, optimization, analytics, contact management, and data governanceManage and optimize digital advertising efforts across social, SEO, PPC, and AI‑generated content channelsIdentify and champion opportunities to integrate AI, analytics, and automation to improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, and business outcomes. Collaborate cross‑functionally to align multimedia and AI capabilities with organizational strategy, growth objectives, and innovation initiatives.Support lead management and performance analysis tied to digital campaignsSocial Media & Content CreationServe as social media platform manager across all NP&A brands (30+ channels)Create, gather, edit, publish, and manage social content, with a primary focus on North American brandsCoordinate and manage internal content contributors across brands and regionsGathers and evaluates web analytics and metrics to be used for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Creates analytical reports pertaining to campaign performance, to present to senior management and the corporate marketing team.Multimedia Production & DesignProvide in‑house videography and photography, including traditional and drone capture, along with post‑production editingDeliver high‑quality visual design using the full Adobe Creative SuiteAct as a multimedia UX strategist, ensuring cohesive, effective experiences across channels, brands, and platformsSales & Brand SupportSupport segment and sales teams as assigned, with a particular emphasis on North American automation brandsOn-site event organization/coordination and related support if needed. Foster a customer-focused marketing mindset across the entire company.Ability to cross-support global marketing department with additional responsibilities as assigned.Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally as needed.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 6+ years of experience required with corporate experience strongly preferred.Strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and core marketing technologies Hands‑on experience in digital marketing, social media, multimedia production, content management, and CMS platforms Working knowledge of email marketing, digital advertising channels, and website management and optimizationStrong communicator able to collaborate effectively with global teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendorsProven ability to manage complex programs while maintaining a big‑picture perspectiveSelf‑motivated, adaptable team player with a strong sense of urgency and problem‑solving mindsetWillingness to be flexible and perform responsibilities not specifically identified in the job description.
