    Project Manager – Multi-Family Construction

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Multi-Family Construction to oversee multiple construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a true hybrid role, balancing office-based project administration with regular jobsite visits to meet with builders, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are upheld.

    The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between builders, superintendents, and internal teams—ensuring projects remain on schedule, documentation is accurate, and customer expectations are consistently met.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage multiple multi-family construction projects from kickoff through close-out
    • Conduct regular jobsite visits to:
      • Meet with Builders and Superintendents
      • Review project progress, quality, and timelines
      • Proactively identify and resolve issues or delays
    • Lead project kickoff meetings and assist with job setup for projects entering production
    • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure alignment on schedules, scopes, and expectations
    • Build and maintain strong builder and customer relationships through consistent communication and site presence
    • Prepare and manage all project documentation, including:
      • Change orders
      • Pay applications (pay apps)
      • Submittals in accordance with plans and specifications
    • Manage month-end project reporting and close processes
    • Participate in customer meetings and occasional client entertainment activities when needed
    Location & Travel
    • This position can be based anywhere between the Triad, Charlotte, or Raleigh regions
      • Strong preference for candidates located in the Charlotte (CLT) or Raleigh-Durham (RDU) areas
    • Regular regional travel to construction job sites is required
    • Overnight travel is limited, but occasional overnight stays may be required depending on jobsite location and project needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Experience in construction project management, ideally in multi-family or commercial construction
    • Solid understanding of construction processes, documentation, and the full project lifecycle
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
    • Hands-on experience managing:
      • Pay applications
      • Construction submittals
      • Change orders
    • Familiarity with multi-family construction environments
